We’ve been misled in the belief that trauma is not a part of the human experience. That suffering isn’t natural. And in that deception we’ve been socialized out of our body’s natural stress response; that innate wisdom that would allow us to shake off every threat to our survival, no matter how big or small, and reset back to a calm, safe and social state.

Nature doesn't live in trauma. Nature shakes itself off and continues to fulfill its purpose. And while human nature is still nature, we have forgotten how to shake off the trauma of our experiences.
Here, we use trauma release exercise as a way to help the body safely process and release years of stuck stress, tension and trauma without reliving the story. TRE® is a series of exercises developed by David Berceli that tap into the body’s natural tremor mechanism at a primitive level and release that tension. It’s simple, accessible and effective.
We teach trauma release exercise both as a stand alone practice and integrated with yoga in order to more fully reconnect the body and mind physically, mentally and emotionally. Clients learn how to safely control and self regulate the tremor for a personalized practice.

During the first 30 days of the program you’ll learn how to reconnect to your body through the tremor mechanism and safely down regulate your nervous system. You’ll be given personal attention and instruction, including individual variations of the trauma release exercises to fit your needs. From there you’ll have access to weekly group TRE classes and Grace & Grit which integrates the tremor into challenging yoga practices for a more complete nervous system reset.
Healing stress injuries is a multifaceted process. While many people start feeling better within the first 2 weeks it takes time, patience and grace to find lasting relief. You didn’t get where you are overnight and everyone is different. We recommend practicing the tremor 2-3x per week with a certified guide. When you’re ready, Kinetic Grace + offers you ongoing support, connection and accountability through monthly membership.
Are live classes recorded?
Private sessions can be recorded on request (not required) and you will have a personal portal where your instructor can save those recordings and any other personal content (ie:specific exercise variations) for you. No one else will have access to that space.
Group TRE sessions are NOT recorded for privacy of members and because what happens in class stays in class.
Grace + Grit classes ARE recorded and are made available in the media library for members.
Can I just join the membership?
Your safety is my number one priority. Trauma release is a direct line to the brainstem and the primitive stress response. Learning safe self regulation is an individual process. That is why Kinetic Grace Resilience and the private instruction is a prerequisite to stepping into the monthly membership.
Do I have to join the membership right away?
No. When you purchase Kinetic Grace Resilience you get access to the membership for 30 days. During that time you’ll complete your 5 private sessions and be able to join the group classes. If you are comfortable continuing your personal TRE practice on your own that’s a beautiful thing and I will celebrate with you! If later on you would like to come back you can do so without repeating your private sessions. Kinetic Grace will always be open to you!
